Hi everyone!
First of all I wanted to thank all of you who sent messages about my mum. I appreciate your thoughts so much and if I've neglected to write back to you, my utmost apologies. I've had a bit of a rough time over the past couple of months. My focus and my energy have been all over the place - but I guess that's grief, which is unpredictable and doesn't follow any set rules.
I'm doing much better now but I have so much to catch up on...
I wanted to let you know about a couple of events I'm taking part in... one of them is the first in a series of readings / conversations that I've put together with CWC member Erik D'Souza featuring members of the BC/YK/NWT region of the Crime Writers of Canada.
We've organized the first session as an example of what we hope to do going forward. This will be me, Debra Purdy Kong and Judee Fong in conversation with Erik, and we'll be discussing "amateur sleuths" and reading from our work. We're doing this live on Facebook on August 3, 4pm Pacific, 7pm Eastern.

The second thing I wanted to let you know about happens on August 10 with the New Westminster Public Library. They've given me an entire hour on Zoom to chat and do readings! (I'm going to include a reading from my current novel Lost Time and also a little preview from the next Jason Davey adventure, Ticket to Ride.)
